New here!!! Im considering getting the gastric sleeve done . I have to meet with a dietitians and psychologist before my procedure is scheduled. Rally nervous about it all !

I just met with the surgeon last week and he's having me go to a lifestyle class first. I'm just getting started with this process.

Getting it will improve and change your life in a way you didn't think it was possible. It took me a while to do the leap, but I'm happy I did.

Yes I just got my call yesterday that my insurance approved my Sleeve surgery !!! Aug.19 is the surgery day !!! I'm excited and nervous [emoji1]

I haven't regretted it once - not even on the two occasions I experienced dumping syndrome. The Constipation after the surgery wasn't particularly enjoyable, but it was nothing that copious amounts of Water and prunes couldn't sort out. So that's only two negatives as opposed to an enormously long list of positives - and I had to pay for my surgery. Worth every penny!
