Aproactiveme 20 Posted May 25, 2019 I love being able to sleep in different positions. How long did it take for you all to be able to sleep on you stomach after surgery?Sent from my SM-G950F using BariatricPal mobile app
MrsGamgee 756 Posted May 25, 2019 Honestly, I slept on my stomach about 4 days post op. It wasn't perfect but it was more comfortable than on my right side, and I'm not able to sleep all night on my back. 49Nash 103 Posted May 25, 2019 3.5 weeks for me and I can’t. It doesn’t hurt to lay on my stomach but the turning over is brutal (and not worth it 1 Aprilgal reacted to this

I turned on the fifth day home after feeling really good...set me back a few days pain wise. I guess it is an individual thing. 1 49Nash reacted to this
gabybab 696 Posted May 26, 2019 I was able to sleep on my side when I came home, if I was up on both pain medications. The pain would wake me when it wore off. I hope you are doing better!
Aproactiveme 20 Posted May 26, 2019 I'm doing somewhat better thanks to asking. I lay on my side with a pillow. But I stay that way until I get my husband to help me to turn over.. [emoji1] the pain is real. I avoid the pain MEDs as much as possible haven't had it in two days. I was able to ride in the car today without feeling like I was going to die for being shaking up. Lol....Sent from my SM-G950F using BariatricPal mobile app

I ended up waiting almost 4 weeks post op and it never felt so good!Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones, but 9 days post op and able to lay on my stomach now with no pain or soreness sleep is good. Only if I can get my daily Protein and Water intaken in I would say it all good. Sent from my SM-G950F using BariatricPal mobile app

That way kill 2 birds one stone! You were so luck to tummy sleep! I literally carry my 60ml cup around drink it every 30 min to get in water!
