Are you logging it in a food app to know how many carbs you eat in a day?
GradyCat 3,695 Posted May 24, 2019 If you can tolerate it and you're not overdoing it, I'd say it's okay. I still can't eat bread, especially something soft like a tortilla or it gives me the foamies.
catwoman7 11,220 Posted May 24, 2019 It depends on where you are in the process. I'd eat something like that *now*, but I wouldn't have the first few months post-op. Not that it's bad for you, but you don't have a lot of stomach real estate, and you have to get a lot of Protein in. A whole wheat tortilla has some nutritional value (i.e., fiber), but not a ton. That said, if you've already eaten it, fine - probably no harm done (unless you're REALLY early out).
gabybab 696 Posted May 24, 2019 I have been using the flat tostada. I eat chicken and tuna salad on it. I bought wheat and didn't use it, it spoiled before I could even try it. These tostadas stay good a long time.
Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted May 24, 2019 If whole wheat breads are on your plan. The only way to eat "too much" is if you go over your calories and carbs for the day.
