How long did you take off work?

Is your job sedentary, active? How long did you stay out of work, and do you feel that that was enough time? Or was it too much/too little?

I had a desk job at the time (I'm retired now). I took off three weeks, but I probably could have gone back after two. I felt OK and was doing things like driving again - although I was still pretty tired and still trying to figure out the eating thing - what would sit well with my stomach, etc. I'm glad for the third week because of that, but again, if I had to, I could have gone back after two.

I have a desk job, and took off 4 weeks. I did it because I felt I needed time to adjust to the food stagez, fatigue, decrease in calories. Etc. Im glad I took the time, but probably could have gone back after 3 weeks. Not any earlier. But that's just me!!

I have an active job that required occasional lifting of over 10lbs. My Dr. Would not allow me to go back before 6 weeks.
