Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted May 20, 2019 you can get capsules, but i am taking the chewables because that is what is delivered. I also dont mind them as a chewable, less likely to get nauseous if i remember and it is not meal time. The capsules i was taking from Amazon beforehand if i didnt take with food i got very nauseous every time. 1 Farmer78! reacted to this

KCgirl061 1,532 Posted May 20, 2019 All the chewables I tried were nasty. I was taking ProCare Now capsules - you only need 1 and if I take it at bedtime with a small snack the nausea is minimal. I'm about out of ProCare and I'm switching to Bariatric Pal One because of the better pricing. I take my chewy calciums at Breakfast lunch and dinner. 1 Farmer78! reacted to this
CurvyMom 386 Posted May 20, 2019 I take fusion - try a different flavor maybe?- i have tropical which is okay adn mixed berry which is mehhh--but they're not that bad. I use the chewy Calcium by Bariatric Advantage. I also tried ProCare capsule and took it mid day and got so sick....so I will switch to those in a few weeks and try them at night. 2 Farmer78! and KCgirl061 reacted to this
AZhiker 2,253 Posted May 20, 2019 optisource post bariatric surgery chewables from Walgreens. Also Biotin, B-12, calcium citrate, D3. I like the Optisource. Some people say that are chalky, but I don't get that sensation. I tried the well known brand of chewable multi and Calcium - like little caramel squares, but they were too sweet, too flavorful, and way too much like candy. It really triggered a desire for sweets which was dangerous for me. I have not had my 6 month blood draw yet, however, so that will really tell the story about how good my Vitamins are (and my diet). 1 Farmer78! reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted May 20, 2019 I take Centrum (or the generic equivalent - CVS and Walgreens both have generics). I took the chewable version the first couple of months, then switched over to the regular tablet. 1 Farmer78! reacted to this

catwoman7 11,220 Posted May 20, 2019 Just now, Farmer78! said: Is this sufficient enough for you, since its not "bariatric "? Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app yep - it meets all the recommendations of the American Society of Bariatric & Metabolic Surgeons (ASBMS). I have to take it twice a day, though (some bariatric formulated ones you only have to take once a day, I think...) 1 Farmer78! reacted to this

Judy NW 10 Posted May 28, 2019 (edited) I was told to take active advantage multi and calcium chews. Both are pretty good. I was able to tolerate them. I'm approved to take the one a day version now for my multi, but will continue the Calcium chews. Edited May 28, 2019 by Judy NW
