KSan35 0 Posted May 16, 2019 I'm so close! I'm planning on taking some measurements and before pictures tonight. I'm going to pack comfy loose pajamas, a robe and slippers, my own pillow, headphones and a phone charger, dry mouth spray, gas-x, and toiletries. Is there anything else I should be doing or packing? Would love the advice.
thatch 377 Posted May 16, 2019 I don't think I packed half of that stuff, I was asleep and if I wasn't asleep I was walking around the ward (so pajamas are a definite yes!). You're going to do great! Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Would love the advice. a heating pad, extra long phone charging cord, eye mask (to sleep), ear plugs, a white noise machine (cut all those beeping noise out), socks with grips on the bottom, always say thank you to the hospital staff for helping you, make sure those slippers have grips on the bottom and always wear sandals in the restroom/shower area. Hospitals are not always very clean. Just FYI! oh bring a camera to document your journey!
gabybab 696 Posted May 16, 2019 (edited) Honestly I only brought myself, my phone and bi-pap. as soon as I was checked in they made me change, so my clothes were still clean. I wore flip flops, wide leg yoga pants, bra and t-shirt. I didn't wear the bra home due to an incision from hernia repair. Best of luck! Cheeseburgh 3,080 Posted May 17, 2019 I was glad to have my iPad. I also downloaded Netflix & Amazon movies so I wouldn’t have to rely on the hospital WiFi.

GradyCat 3,695 Posted May 17, 2019 You might want chapstick and lotion. 1 Michael Sleeve reacted to this
Chicpea 9 Posted May 17, 2019 Chapstick! You’re mouth and lips get really dry from the surgery and not drinking. I brought a robe to cover up when taking my walks. 1 Michael Sleeve reacted to this
