GreenTealael 25,430 Posted May 16, 2019 (edited) What do you consider a (melodramatic) Emergency these days? Late to work? 2lb weight gain? Bad date? Spilled coffee? Sour yogurt? Budget due? Teens? How do you combat it? How do you process your emotions now instead of letting them eat away at you? Or you eating them into submission? What tools & (let's be honest) foods are on your emergency bag to keep you from going into shock? GradyCat 3,695 Posted May 17, 2019 I had disappointing news yesterday that I was going to need two crowns on my teeth costing $1800. At first I thought of "comfort food" but thankfully those feelings went away quickly and I recognized that this wasn't a problem that was going to be solved by food and that I just needed to deal with my dental issues. It worked, I didn't eat anything in a panic! 3 1 1 seaforest, FluffyChix, Frustr8 and 2 others reacted to this
KCgirl061 1,532 Posted May 17, 2019 I keep a bag of Quest chips in the panty - they are expensive so they are my "emergency only" chips. 2 GreenTealael and FluffyChix reacted to this

Frustr8 7,886 Posted June 14, 2019 I have Orchids and Dragons on text-dial in mine, she has helped me down off a few dietary ledges and I value her consul.
