TracyS 62 Posted May 15, 2019 I stalled when I went in the pureed stage and now stalling again in the soft food stage. Is this normal? Still trying to eat between 300 to 400 calories. Maybe not eating enough?Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app
Briswife15 890 Posted May 15, 2019 When I increased calories a little I lost weight. May want to try 400-500 and see what happens. Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app
sillykitty 10,776 Posted May 15, 2019 Stalls happen, no rhyme or reason for them. You just have to ride them out. IMO, anything that "breaks a stall" is just concidence, unless you are eating at your BMR, and you decrease your cals, which clearly isn't your situation. GradyCat 3,695 Posted May 15, 2019 There's an infamous Week 3 or Week 4 stall that everyone experiences. Then other stalls just happen even if we're doing everything right. I would eat around 600 calories if I were you and not worry about the scale.
KCgirl061 1,532 Posted May 15, 2019 Don't worry about stalls right now! Your body is going through a lot of changes and doesn't know what is going on! My advice is to stay off the scale and focus on your Fluid and Protein intake. The weight loss will come, you just need to be patient.

Just stick with your program, and recognize you’re doing everything you can. 1 Cheeseburgh reacted to this
