DWentz 19 Posted May 19, 2019 Drink gatorade zero or propel with no calories. They have electrolytes n will help get u on track. I was so nauseous n thought of drinking Water made me sick. MrsGamgee 756 Posted May 19, 2019 I'm day 3 post op from rny, and I'm wrung out beyond imagining. The pain meds certainly aren't helping with the tiredness. I'm getting about 2/3 of my Fluid requirements and about 1/3 of my Protein. My RD said my main goal for the first 2 weeks is about fluids.. to focus on that and the rest will fall into place. Wanda1971 15 Posted May 19, 2019 I'm 11 days postop and still not getting the recommended fluids nor Protein but I'm doing better than last week. Take one day at a time. It will get better. Popsicles, broth, and Water are my best friends. But I still need to up my water more.
