I am 6.5 years post surgery RNY. I have in the past year gained 20lbs. Today starts my 5 day pouch reset. Anyone else done this? Any tips?

Many of us have done the pouch reset to get back on track. The other option is to go back to your bariatric diet plan. (Log stay within calories/macros, hydrate and exercise)

Day 1 was hardest. I wasn't hungry....but I wanted to chew something lol got through day 2 with flying colors

Great! It really helps you cut out the carbs. And I do feel like it's helping I feel a little more restricted. And the bonus is I've lost 6 lb since Monday.

And never overlook the power a big old glass of cinnamon apple tea with 10g of whole psyllium husks dissolved in them. I was starving this afternoon and realized I hadn't taken my psyllium yet. So so full now.

If you Google 5 day pouch reset it will tell you exactly what to do. To be honest I LOVE carbs. What it really did for me the biggest was help me get myself to stop so many carbs. So now I am watching how many carbs I am eating. I don't eat more than 30 a day currently.... hopefully I can keep it up
