ShawnZ 17 Posted May 15, 2019 I'm able to eat oatmeal... I usually limit myself to like 1/4 cup with some milk, fruit, and a tad bit of brown sugar. It's best if you toast it in a pan first. Great for Fiber. As for carbs... I'm having so little I don't think it's a problem. Plus the milk adds Protein. It's really about calories and nutrition - for me it's a good fiber source. Peachgodd 25 Posted May 27, 2019 I found oatmeal on the bariatric pal website. Its got added Protein and only 10 carbs. Post Op food list my doc gave me, had grits and cream of wheat so i feel like it will be fine.
