gabybab 696 Posted May 10, 2019 (edited) I'm wondering if I should put my surgery weight or pre-op weight. I lost an unbelievable 16 pounds that week. If I add my week pre-op it shows I'm ahead of schedule. If I don't it shows I'm normal. My weight loss has slowed way down and I'm losing max 2 pounds a week. I thought I would lose 100 in 6 months, but I doubt it now. So easy to get discouraged even having lost quite a bit. Edited May 10, 2019 by gabybab
med28thmed 118 Posted May 10, 2019 First off, Congratulations on your 50+ weight loss, way to go friend! I lost a pretty good amount of weight also during pre-op diet (14 lbs) but gained 10 back right after surgery, from the IV Fluid. So yeah, I go by the pre-op weight minus my current weight = success and joy...😂 I understand how you feel about getting discouraged easily, I try to focus on the positive. I have so much more energy now, my blood pressure is controlled, I'm walking my dog every day...plus I like what I see in the mirror more and more every day 😅❤️ We got this! I'm almost 3 months post-op and I initially thought I would lose faster. I need to exercise more. It's very hot today!
