MichelleR79 0 Posted May 10, 2019 Hi there, I’m 17 months post op and stopped losing at 7 months ☹️ I’ve had a lot of problems with acid and sour stomach in the last 5 months or so and am wondering if anyone else experienced this and what their surgeon said. I’ve been out on carafate and liquid Zantac. Tried other otc acid blockers and prescriptions.
catwoman7 11,221 Posted May 10, 2019 that unfortunately isn't all that uncommon among gastric sleeve patients. Sorry you're dealing with this. Hopefully they'll be able to find something that works for you. 1 sillykitty reacted to this

KCgirl061 1,533 Posted May 10, 2019 Is it happening when you eat certain things like dairy? My fellow sleever friend couldn't tolerate dairy and I was experiencing extreme gas when I had dairy. Lactaid helps tremendously. Maybe that's worth trying to see if it would help?
MichelleR79 0 Posted May 11, 2019 I’m going to start keeping a tighter food journal to see. Thanks for the tip!

Your sleeve may be crying inside " Please treat me a little more tenderly I'm just a little slender critter!!" 1 JDUDA reacted to this
