Surgery release question

I just had surgery on the 14th and they would not release me until someone was there to pick me up. I can honestly say that you are not going to want to be alone because the recovery pain is real, so driving is out of the question. I agree that using a rideshare is your best option if you do not want everyone to know.

If you have the next door app, check and see if one of your neighbors would be willing to pick you up. I noticed that it happens all the time on my neighborhood nextdoor app. Do you belong to a church? Ask someone there. Do you live in my area? I will help ya 😀

It depends on your hospital. Mine didn’t ask any questions about who was picking me up. I’m sure I wouldn’t have been allowed to drive, but I could have called a Lyft
