emma93 18 Posted July 30, 2019 Buying clothes that aren’t in the plus size section or not buying the biggest size the store has and hoping it fits lol. This is the first time I’ve ever been able to wear a boyfriends clothing item and not have it be too small. Just cute and baggy. I love it! 2 Lynda486 and rs reacted to this
AZhiker 2,253 Posted September 27, 2019 Our staff was eating lunch outside today at some picnic tables. Most are overweight. Two of us who are normal size were sitting at one bench and when a late staffer came, the immediate consensus was for the "skinny" ones to move over and make room. Ha!!!!!! I was one of the "skinny" ones!!!!! It is just sooooo weird getting used to this new classification of body size. Surreal, actually. All my life I have looked at "skinnies" from the fatty vantage point - sometimes with envy and mostly with sadness that I was not one of them. Now I am looking from the opposite view and it is just so different, especially since I still think of myself as fat in my mind, but others see me now as skinny, and maybe with envy, resentment or sadness. It is going to take some time for this to all sink in. 1 rs reacted to this
New&Improved 1,780 Posted September 28, 2019 Walking into a shop and not having to go to the mr big and tall section the normal area has much better range and variety
always 59 Posted October 6, 2019 My 80year old aunt at a wedding asking me if I was okay. She said she has never seen me so thin. In total 63lbs in 4.5 months I had a tough first 2 months post open. I am under 20lbs to get to Normal at BMI wt range. Love this decision..... 1 AZhiker reacted to this
