Losingit2018 1,170 Posted May 7, 2019 Did your surgeon put you on a specific preop diet? You may want to start eating higher Protein and ditch the carbs now. Less to deal with post op. Losingit2018 1,170 Posted May 8, 2019 (edited) Actually, I had to do the liquid Optifast diet for one month before surgery. No clue why I said 2 weeks above. I was so nervous about going without food for that long. I made it through alright though. The Optifast shakes are formulated to be complete nutrition so they contained everything that I needed. Will you be on liquids only?
