midniteblue 0 Posted January 25, 2005 I am now at the second week of my surgery and am on thicker liquids....how much is to much to drink.....I drink a lot of Soup and my three ensures I am suppose to have....and drink till am I am full lol and Water which seems all the time to keep me full....am I overdoing the liquids...... Alexandra 55 Posted January 25, 2005 I remember posting almost exactly the same question. As you heal your hunger will return, and if you're still on liquids it takes a lot to satisfy the hunger. But don't worry--as long as you're following the instructions with regard to texture, you can't overdo it on liquids. Quantity limitation comes LATER. Emmy27 1 Posted January 25, 2005 My doctor told me I can have/should have as much Soup and liquids as I wanted. I try to stick with three "meals" of soup, etc. and fill myself with cold Water the other times. Sometimes having a pudding helps too (fat free). Good luck and congratulations!
