Thick Fil a 0 Posted May 2, 2019 Hi, New Here. Im 5'3 , 215 lbs. My BMI is 38. What weight loss tool is good for me? I looked into Orbera but insurance doesnt cover it and it would take me forever to save up. What insurance covered options do I have? I was hoping that I could get a temporary solution. Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted May 2, 2019 You would have to call your insurance company to see what procedures would be covered. Also ask what criteria you would have to meet to qualify for surgery. Well Insurance usually deals with the 2 most common. Either RNY BYPASS or VSG sleeve. One is a little more aggressive than the other. There's tons of research to be done. From my own research I feel bypass is the most successful since you may need to lose what 80+lbs Temporary things are pretty useless if you can't do it on your own surgery is the best choice.
