I don't know who your surgeon is, but beware of ECH. Last time I was there, the nurses and doctors were having a p*ssing contest over who ran the hospital, and taking out their frustration on the patients. I was abused verbally, physically, medically, for SIX DAYS. I wouldn't take my worst enemy there!

However, if you can, get a referral to Dr. Robert McKeen at Good Samaritan in Los Gatos. (on border w/ San Jose) He is excellent, and the hospital is a dream, compared to ECH.
