On the other side!! Questions....

Recommended Posts

Well everything went fine. I had surgery at 7:30 and was walking out of the hospital at 11:30.

Yikes - I have quite a bit of pain from the gas. Everytime I inhale it hurts and the incision where the band is placed is pretty sore.

Any suggestions??

Thanks for all of your support everyone

Gas X & Walking..

You will have lots of gas and swelling from surgery so take it easy, theheating pad is a good thing to have handy for your tummy when it is sore. I also took adult strength liquid tylenol for the pain and it worked great. Congratulations I'm glad you are home and everything went well for you....Update us on how you are doing when you feel up to it :o

Lauren, Congratulations on officially becoming a Bandster! Please get plenty of rest, walk as much as possible, keep drinking (even if it's just little sips as often as possible), and follow your dr's rules. Hope your recovery is uneventful.

Way to Go. You did it. I am so happy for you.

I am slowly comming up behind you.

I survived my full liquid pre op diet first day yesterday.

Actuallly lost 3.5 pounds. Maybe I will have lost all my weight by the time I get banded and then the band can just help me keep it off, just kidding.

But maybe this liver is shrinking, sure hope so.

Back to you. SIp SIp SIp, walk, walk, walk. rest, rest, rest and then start the process all over again. That is going to be my mantra.

Hugs and Bunches of Good Thoughts
