Swanzylady 1 Posted April 30, 2019 I had my surgery on 04/09/19. Before the surgery I was 265 at my 1 week post op I was 243 but two weeks after when I weighed myself it’s say 250 am not sure what exactly is going on, like am really losing my mind . I had to stop taking my Vitamins because they wouldn’t stay down so my doctor asked me to stop taking them until am ready I to take the in 4 weeks. Did anyone going through this. Saxons 71 Posted April 30, 2019 This might be to simple, but you are weighing yourself at the same time of day, wearing the same/similar clothes? Water weight can be significant, and you might haven been a bit dehydrated when you weighed 243. I would suggest to only weigh yourself once a week. I am 14 months out and I used an app that graphed my weight loss. Sometimes I plateaued, and then I would lose 5 points in a week. Nevertheless, so far I have lost 80 pounds. Don't worry, it will happen for you! 1 FancyChristine15 reacted to this
gabybab 696 Posted April 30, 2019 From week 4 to week 8 I lost zero. I gained 3 pounds. I've now lost 5 pounds the last 2 weeks. You are very early on and it looks like you lost a lot if weight pre-op, as I did. I think your body is taking a break. You will start losing again. Best wishes!
