Avery's Mom 315 Posted April 24, 2019 I was an avid runner in my twenties. Now that I'm in my 50s and have a few old war wounds you can definitely call what I do slow jogging LOL
summerset 5,265 Posted April 25, 2019 If you're running with a mid foot strike with 180 steps per minute at your "niko niko pace" chances are you're doing slow jogging. 1 belikewater reacted to this
seaforest 562 Posted April 29, 2019 Growing up everyone was a jogger. Then they became runners. I always thought jogging was nice and I could go longer. Anyway, I never thought I'd become a runner but jogger has always seemed like a nice idea. Maybe I'll give this a shot.

Krestel 330 Posted May 22, 2019 How is slow jogging for the knees? I happened upon the video in my Youtube recommendations. Looks interesting...Will it help you to transition to normal running/jogging?

Looks interesting...Will it help you to transition to normal running/jogging? If you believe Mr. Tanaka it's ok for the knees if you take it easy. Small steps, 180 steps per minute, landing on the mid foot, starting with low volume (e. g. you can use some kind of couch to 5k app). You transition into running by doing 180 steps per minute or more and simply having a longer stride. For maintaining 180 steps per minute one of the various free metronome apps is useful in the beginning and/or if you own one: a sports watch that is able to recognize your cadence.
