I have the choc, vanilla, unflavored, and chicken. The chicken is good, but WAY to salty for me, I only use 1/2 scoop and it is tolerable. I love the Choc, very good. The vanilla is a little sweet, but OK. I have tried using the unflavored in Jello and pudding, I guess I am the only one who can taste it.. I am probably not doing it right. I still plan to use it...It doesn't mess up the stomach at all.

i have the Unjury samples. the choco is the only one that i have had and it was AWESOME!! Just like choco milk. i had purchased some "any whey" unflavored whey Protein. it says you can add it to yogurt and pudding, you can't, it clumps. and i tried adding it to eggs, oatmeal, Cereal, etc. and it was GROSS. (that the "any whey", i have tried the unflavored unjury yet).

Hi all, I'm new to this experience and this site! The WLS Program/Nutritionist is a big believer in Protein and only protein. I've tried Worldwide Protein Shakes chocolate - they are pre-mixed, very sweet but good bought them at Trader Joe's - they were expensive $2.19/can. I've also tried a Whey Protein Powder that is good too. I'm excited that I can get samples of the Unjury - thanks for the tip!

I thought the "unflavored" tasted like baby formula smells. Not a fan. And I had mixed it with chicken broth, but could still taste that weird smell.

So, This PB2..powered Peanut Butter, How Does That Work, Can You Use It In Anything Other Than shakes And Is It Worth It To Go Buy It?

Thanks

I think it's worth it if you're a Peanut Butter fan. You can mix it with a little Water and use it just like regular peanut butter. It has 54 calories

and 2.8 grams of fat for 2 TBSP verses 190 calories and 16 grams of fat for regular peanut butter. Their website has recipes to give you some ideas how it use it. Bell Plantation - PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter - Home

I use the unflavored Unjury in 6-8 oz of skim milk and a tbsp of your favorite fat free/sugar free instant pudding. I love pistachio myself. I also add it to Happy Planet drinkable yogurts. Also very YUMMY! :hungry:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
