Lol It makes me happy that we actually have a great group of people who we can turn to if needed. I mean unless you're embarking on this journey, you cant fully understand how exciting, scary, and wonderful this is. A great example is my wonderful husband, he supports me but I know I drive him nuts talking about it lol. Smashing Pumpkins helped get me through high school but so did 80s hair bands lol my parents raised me loving the 80s even though I'm a 90s baby (lol) and Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins were ahead of their time. 4 Deedeeleeme, ARMoma45, Purpledva and 1 other reacted to this

You're so young to be an 80's hair band lover but I love that you are! That was my high school music (I'm 46). Hair nation is my go to Satellite radio station. 🤘 Anyone having a "last meal" per say of something that is a favorite now but you know you won't be able to enjoy for a long long time or ever again depending on what it is? I haven't had Pasta since I started my journey in January and my nutritionist recommends no breads or pasta after surgery even when cleared for regular diet. I think I may have myself a good old fashioned plate of spaghetti (1/2 cup serving size!) and home made meatballs. I don't have a liquid pre-op diet in my program so I have some time to decide. 2 Batty2000 and ARMoma45 reacted to this

Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app Depending on where and when it is, I might actually be willing to make the drive down from Madison for it, since it's only a couple of hours out. I might also drag my husband along, since he'll be fairly close to this cohort, just a couple of months behind 😊 2 Batty2000 and alex76 reacted to this

I'm going to allow myself one small splurge before the surgery, and it's probably going to be the Brazilian grill, since I know it will be a while before most meats are OK without being pureed 😜 It's also partly a buffet, which might be pretty pointless for me after surgery, since I won't "get my money's worth" 😄

I have my pre-op seminar/workshop on Tues (05/13) And then my final clearance/decision day with the doctor on 05/16. I will check back in to let everyone know if everything is a final go. I started a discussion in regards to an abnormal ecg. All of my other tests came back alright. So I am nervous about the ecg. So we will see. Come on June 3 1 ARMoma45 reacted to this
