Im two days post op and have the most horrendous heartburn even after a sip of Water - it’s making me not want to drink/sip. GradyCat 3,695 Posted April 5, 2019 That's pretty normal because your body has just been through a lot of trauma. For the first few weeks after surgery I had bad acid reflux/heartburn and then it went away.
