angie_is_losing_it 90 Posted April 2, 2019 So I was sleeved March 11. I had a really rough go the first two weeks but have felt better compared to then. But I still wake up every day feeling like crap. I don't sleep very well which may be contributing... also my inscisions are taking a long time to heal and they even were leaking a little pus which I'm not sure is normal at 3 weeks out. I find it very difficult to get all my fluids in. It just is so dang uncomfortable. Anyone else feeling blah??Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app 1 1 2 FluffyChix, RoseKay91, ProudGrammy and 1 other reacted to this

BrighterSide 242 Posted April 2, 2019 This distance out with pus as opposed to lymph (the completely clear stuff) I would go to my doctor, especially if the area round the incision feels warmer than surrounding skin and/or you have a temperature of 38 degrees or more.Regardless make sure you’re drinking you recommended amount or as close as poss. Can’t but help no matter what and like the lovely lady said there’s still lots of healing going on. Hopefully you’re feeling better in a week or so. Hang in there , your body’s been through a lot 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Mychoice19 38 Posted April 7, 2019 It gets better, I had to stay in the hospital for two days because I couldn't keep anything down. I was miserable I literally just started feeling better this past weekend but I am tired because my sleep is off. Just keep pushing. I tell myself in time it all gets better. Results are coming. Baby steps! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
Frustr8 7,886 Posted April 7, 2019 May need to speak with someone skilled in Bariatrics. You may be suffering from a post- surgical depression , they do happen more than what you would think. 2 ProudGrammy and yoshimon reacted to this
domi 237 Posted April 26, 2019 I felt crappy until I got on solid food. I have also added B-12 shots. They are helping immensely.

KT1981 294 Posted April 26, 2019 I'm willing to bet in another couple of weeks you'll perk up dramatically. I thought I'd be good to go in a week or two and then I could get some stuff done while I was on leave. (I was off for 6 weeks). Nope. I really needed every day of that leave, and then I was still pooped out for a couple weeks after I went back to work. But the further out from surgery I got, the better my diet became and I got more Protein, more Water, more consistent with my Vitamins, etc. and I perked up. Give it a bit more time! 1 belikewater reacted to this
sleevdB89 42 Posted April 27, 2019 I was feeling the same, my surgery was 4/12. Turns out I was dehydrated with a very low potassium. Went to the ER & ended up staying the night. No fun but I am feeling better. Trying to stay hydrated & eat more. I wasn’t eating as much as I should of.
