MrsGamgee 756 Posted April 10, 2019 Day 10 - had a little chat with myself while walking in the rain. Also managed to get some blood work and an ECG done this morning. Feeling very productive. Off to do my squats and crunches. 4 DanaC84, GreenTealael, Orchids&Dragons and 1 other reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted April 10, 2019 Day#1 What do I like about me? Probably the same things that irritate others, stubbornness, strong and resilience. I don't agree to everything others ask me( reformed from being an doormat for my family) but if I make a promise, I move Heaven and Earth to fulfill it. And I am compassionate, especially to animals. I cannot stand to have one be in pain, you don't want me to visit our local no-kill Cat Shelter, I might return with pockets full of kittens! There are few things in life cuter than kittens and puppies, and everyone there is looking for a 2nd chance to have their Forever Family. 6 MrsGamgee, Orchids&Dragons, thatch and 3 others reacted to this

DanaC84 1,116 Posted April 11, 2019 11) make a meal for one ✅. Breakfast and lunch everyone is on there own. I still have to make my moms but she’s still sleeping. So savoring my one and only cup of coffee with my face in my phone. Aaahhhhh! I hope everyone has a great day 😘 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
MrsGamgee 756 Posted April 11, 2019 Day 11 - make a meal for one. Well that's easy these days, as I'm having Glucerna shakes 3 times a day. I have been experimenting with different flavourings to make them more palatable. thatch 377 Posted April 11, 2019 11. Make a meal for one. Done and done. I usually just cook for myself and let my husband fend for himself. 3 DanaC84, GreenTealael and Cheeseburgh reacted to this
Cheeseburgh 3,080 Posted April 11, 2019 dinner for one tonight. I bought a wild rice stuffed chicken breast, I had it once before and it felt so indulgent. I’ll eat about 2 tablespoons of the wild rice. This challenge, my new Fitbit and going to the gym is working for me. I already hit my goal to get below 150. I was exactly 149 this morning. I’ve lost 7 pounds in the last month which is higher than normal since I’m close to my goal weight. Thank you for this thread, it helped kick me into another gear. 3 ms.sss, GreenTealael and DanaC84 reacted to this
mousecat88 2,281 Posted April 11, 2019 Meal for one is tricky today because I made some "bulk" ground turkey w/ onion and mushroom last night to finish up and I am going to get thai for lunch. But usually I always make meals for one. So, I'll just carry that success over to today. LOL. 2 DanaC84 and GreenTealael reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted April 11, 2019 Think I have been doing this a long time, Tomkitten is on a Normal Person diet plan but Baby I sure am not! Only one meal in 5 do we converge much, otherwise I feed him and try to fix something else MS Precious Pouch will not regurgitate. Tomorrow is EGJ #10 or so, let's hear from Dr Noria the current state of my innards. Ulcerations still or healing? Pouch, less swollen, less red, ready to grow up, get destenosed and act like a Normal 7 month old Gastric Pouch? Last emesis was this Monday, tried to furthering diet, P.P. said " Oh No You Don't!" and enforced her statement with offending food" Up And Out". Few of family members used to say I was bratty 👎but I sure was a miniscule level compared with a turkey egged sized piece of gastric flesh. Every time I think she is going to honor our truce agreement, she starts up more hostilities. I used to bemoan the fact I had been not blessed with siblings, no more, she can be worse than a bratty baby brother, I believe. But I live in hope, and still losing weight, one scale said 233.1, one said 229.5, of course I love the second more, so a long way from 365+ where I started out, but never did I expect the road to there so bumpy and twisting. That makes me about 30 pounds away from Valerie the CNP goal for ME, but inside I WOULD STILL like to try for my Dream Goal of 175, can't I at least try? Best thing will be: Precious Pouch has to come along there with me, unless Drs Needleman and Noria excise her, SHE'S MY HOSTAGE! Makes the struggles I've been threw and chance for revenge on her a little sweeter!❤🍶👈😝👉 1 DanaC84 reacted to this
ms.sss 15,725 Posted April 11, 2019 #11 Make a Meal for One: I make meals for myself every day so this is just a normal thing (I guess for all of us!) Here is what I put together for my first meal of the day: a leftover salad (leftover roast beef deli meat slices from the Kid's lunch yesterday and leftover shrimp from dinner last night on some salad fixin's). I didn't eat much of it at my first crack at it, so it is now going to be a leftover-leftover salad for later sometime. 3 GreenTealael, DanaC84 and Cheeseburgh reacted to this
