xiluvmababekayx 20 Posted March 29, 2019 @ms.sss I am freezing all the time before surgery my heat was at 60 window open fan on. I’ve been home for a week now and my heat is at 72 degrees, 2 comforters and a heating pad and I’m still cold I hate this. 3 1 Frustr8, GreenTealael, DanaC84 and 1 other reacted to this

Side note: I am the only one in my hot yoga class who wears socks and long sleeves to class. Sometimes I even keep my yoga jacket on for the first half of it. How long ago did you have surgery? Have you had your Iron checked? 1 1 Frustr8 and GreenTealael reacted to this

But I have to say I prefer it over being so hot all the time. Before, the slightest exertion would result in me being a hot, sweating mess. Then I'd be all flustered about being sweaty and then end up sweating some more. *sigh* So now socks are a fixture on my feet (I only see my feet now when I shower!), and I drink hot Water all day. I want to say it has gotten slightly better, but it may just be because the weather is getting warmer. *shrugs* 2 2 imtired, Frustr8, GreenTealael and 1 other reacted to this

My poor hobbit feet only tolerate socks begrudgingly when there is snow on the ground (okay, so that's still at least six months of the year here). I hope that maybe I'll miss this after-effect of surgery. 3 1 FluffyChix, GreenTealael, DanaC84 and 1 other reacted to this

I had my labs done last month (around mid-feb), and all was good except I was a little high on B12...so they asked me to reduce the frequency of taking my B12 vites, that's about it. I remember reading somewhere that body temp goes down during active weight loss phases, but I can't be sure...I'll have to go do some research on that later to confirm... 3 DanaC84, GreenTealael and Frustr8 reacted to this

If I wore them out, I would take them off as soon as I got home. Now they are my bffs. Being cold afterwards is pretty common, I understand, but everyone tolerates it differently...your hobbit feet may be OK au naturel. 3 1 Frustr8, MrsGamgee, DanaC84 and 1 other reacted to this

There aren't many of us here... glad to meet another bariatric patient from north of the 49th parallel. As for the socks, I will adjust if I have to. But I won't like it. 2 1 GreenTealael, DanaC84 and ms.sss reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted March 29, 2019 Oh do I have news for you, not only do we have B.C. the ever present Ontario and P.Am we recently acquired a Newfoundlander and a P. E. I., and while you were inactive a Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, but I think they have both moved on to the thinner life. I think the PEI is maybe having her surgery on shore in Labrador, but of course they all have my well wishes! Told the Maritimers and PQ I would sing O Canada in their success, but I think they didn't mind the threat and still had success. I had 5 years of French , grades 7 through12, I really should take the challenge of learning it in French, one of my instructors was from Alabama, so some words have a drawl . When I. talked to my penpal in Dollard Des Ormeaux( Montreal suburb) I think it was all she could do to keep from giggling. Haven't. heard from her for a while , her hubby was a professor at McGill, I think Chemistry. 2 DanaC84 and MrsGamgee reacted to this
