SargentSkittles 12 Posted March 16, 2019 People talk about having no appetite after surgery, so the diet is easier. How are some ways you guys combat emotional eating? This is one thing I worry about. So far I've been doing really well, I'll go draw, or take a walk. I've lost 50lbs since october 2018, and I'm now sitting at 310lbs. I'm doing well, in my eyes, but I would still like to know more ways I can combat this problem. summerset 5,265 Posted March 16, 2019 I recommend books about "normal eating" or "intuitive eating". These books usually deal with emotional eating quite a lot. Different strategies work for different people. 3 Healthy_life2, SargentSkittles and ProudGrammy reacted to this

Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile appI’m working on this myself. I just got out my paints and plan on making it part of my journey. I had googled earlier emotional eating podcasts and I’m going to start listening to them on my walks. https://player.fm/podcasts/Emotional%20Eating. 1 polly... reacted to this

GradyCat 3,695 Posted March 16, 2019 I try to "drink" my emotions away with some sugar-free flavored water or a homemade iced coffee with vanilla Protein in it instead of eating food. 2 SargentSkittles and polly... reacted to this
