Stitches78 65 Posted June 6, 2019 I just got home from the hospital. Surgery went smooth. Gas pain is the worst part. But at least I'm home 4 1 Ash-stonishing, FluffySaysForkIt!, Batty2000 and 2 others reacted to this

Walk around the house. Get up every 15 minutes and walk around for 5 minutes. Keep doing that. You’ll feel better 1 Batty2000 reacted to this
Stitches78 65 Posted June 6, 2019 I have been doing good with walking. It does really help. I think the biggest challenge is getting all the Water down. 1 Batty2000 reacted to this

Just make it a job. Keep the Water next to you. And take a sip every 10 minutes or whatever you can tolerate. Just know that eating and drinking will be a chore for the next several months. 1 Batty2000 reacted to this
Stitches78 65 Posted June 6, 2019 I have Water on me at all times. I was up walking most of the night. My wife stayed with me and between me getting up to pee every five minutes, and the people coming to take blood, bother of us got sleep. But, I'm really happy to not have to much pain. Just sore. 1 Batty2000 reacted to this
Batty2000 177 Posted June 7, 2019 Update: everything went well today, was actually up and walking the halls about two hours after getting in my room. Don’t get me wrong the pain can be real. Especially the gas pain, but you know who told me what do when that happens? My WLC family here, so I got my butt up and started walking . It worked. Thank from the bottom of my heart... good nightSo glad to hear it! Congratulations!Sent from my SM-G970U using BariatricPal mobile app
