I'll take the fifth....

But I did see a movie where this lady had a crush on Santa and they only made love with the guy dressed as Santa.....it was werid....and it was a regular movie, not an X rated.... but for the life of me, I can't remember the name or who's in it, it was a long time ago......

Now Derrick, would you behave? some jokes get you in trouble.... bounce.gifbounce.gifbounce.gifclap2.gifclap2.gifbounce.gifbounce.gifbounce.gifrolleyes.gif

All in favor of re-instating Santa's right to say "HO HO HO!" and removing Derrick's rights to same said phrase say "Aye!"

Aye! :)

Just mytwo cents--<br /> If everyone were willing to admit to the pagan roots of Christmas... The fact that the entire holiday season is based on drinking, overeating, and excessive expenditure all in the name of someone that most don't regard as the authority in their lives anyways...... The fact that Santa screams a pseudo-obscenity would be a non- issue and everyone could go on with their lives overspending at the mall and drinking spiked egg-nog while their children open their presents in the name of Jesus....

I will join you with the "hos" When words get banned like that, it always makes me want to run up and down the street shouting it

What would "A Christmas Story" be without the wacko Santa screaming "HO, HO, HO!" into Ralphie's little face before shoving him down the slide with his foot? :) Let Santa say whatever he wants!!!

Santa started saying the ho-word first so I figure he has a right to keep on using it.

I'm with you....but I wonder if Santa knew all along what "ho" meant..... and he was just pretending not to know to get away with it.... Santa maybe evil after all...:)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
