Leatha this was great encouragment for me. Reading this mans story shows the band is a great success along with alot of hard work from ourselves. Every Dr. has their own post op diet they want you to follow. One thing I was told by Dr. Ortiz is that when Inamed came out with the band they had no post op diet so every Dr. and his nurtitionalist made up their own. My Dr. has a longer post op liquid phase then most. 2 weeks Clear Liquids, 1 week full liquids at week 4 was mushy food for 2 weeks then solids at week 6.

Not many here have I heard of them having 3 weeks of liquids.

He also may have had a pre op diet to follow, more so in men who have a higher BMI and have more fat around their livers some Dr's require liquids pre band to shrink the size of the liver, it is easier to place the band that way.
