berryfam 14 Posted February 24, 2019 My surgery date is 2/25/2019. I'm very nervous and scared of what my life will be like right after.Do what you can today to make your post-op life easier. The recovery is a little harder than I anticipated. Fill your pantry with Protein Shakes, sugar free Jello, popsicles, broth, and gas-x. I cleaned my whole house the night before and put away all dishes and laundry so I wouldn't have to think about it. Anticipate being off your feet, except for short walks to relieve gas, for the next 2-3 days. Keep your head up, it does get better. Just breath and read. I've learned a lot from the different people. And no 2 of us are alike. The first few weeks are bodies are healing. Best wishes. Let us know how you do. 1 gerl86 reacted to this

halothekalo 0 Posted February 26, 2019 Sleeved Feb 11th! Yesterday was 2 weeks out. Down 21 pounds. Super low energy and trouble staying on top of Water intake. I’m having trouble figuring out which foods are ok with me- turns out I’m one of the people who become lactose intolerant after. Hope everyone is coming along and feeling well!
