SusieQ2019 567 Posted May 15, 2019 I had my post-op appointment today and I am down 11lbs from surgery date of 4/29. According to my Surgeon and my dietitian I am ahead of schedule for the weight I've lost far. I was advanced to soft cooked eggs soft vegetables (fish which I don't eat) and some fruits. I am doing well with my Water, but need to increase Protein to 64 oz. I found that I don't like anything that is sweet and I don't have an appetite. My incisions are healed and pain near the largest incision is pretty much gone. I’m just trying to focus on the long-term because I know my tool will work in the long run. Hang in there and PM me anytime. Thanks my surgery twin! Hanging in there, no other choice right? And for sure it will work 🤗 1 Sharon Ashcraft reacted to this

I’ve lost about 20 or so lbs in the first month as my weight loss slowed because I had lost that weight so quickly.

Because I had lost the first 18 lbs so quickly I hit a stall at week 3. My nutritionist said it’s my body going into self preservation mode. I stopped weighing myself daily and weigh in weekly. The scale finally moved (weighed last Sunday) and as of that day, I’m down 20 lbs all together.
