naiad 51 Posted March 23, 2019 April 18th. I'm still getting used to the fact that I committed to the surgery. Do the doubts ever go away?Mine is the 23rd and I'm not sure! I still have them. Fit.4.Me 7 Posted March 23, 2019 I’m scheduled to have the sleeve on April 3rd. I’m currently on day 3 of my 2 week clear liquid diet & it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done! 😔 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Bootscraper 56 Posted March 23, 2019 April 11th. I'm starting a new job exactly two weeks after surgery, hopefully I'll be ready to roll by then! 2 ElaineP and ProudGrammy reacted to this
angie_is_losing_it 90 Posted March 23, 2019 Hi Angie, why was your surgery awlful? I hope you are doing better! I started my period the day of my surgery. So the entire time I was in the hospital I was bleeding really heavily, the pain was unbearable even with medicine. I couldn't do any walking because I would almost pass out every time I tried to stand up. I could hardly make it to the commode to go to the bathroom. I couldn't wipe myself. I bled everywhere. It's been 11 days and I am doing better, but there was a point there at the beginning that I didnt know how I was going to get through it. However I’m only on liquid, not clear. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Robin DaVette 24 Posted March 23, 2019 I am on day 2 of my liquid diet. Yesterday was ok until the evening came. I felt really bad, but I realized that my calories were pretty low. However, I lost 3 lbs! But I am going to do better today calorie wise. 2 ProudGrammy and ElaineP reacted to this

I know many OP have had their period during/right after surgery. For many, that must be an awful experience dealing with it and just having had WLS. not being able to walk, bathroom issues - all that blood. i can only imagine how you feel, not good. 😪 Glad things are turning around now, hopefully you will feel better day, by day. good luck kathy
