wilsntomas 12 Posted April 13, 2019 I need it too. Although I am slightly nervous, I have worked really hard to get here. So, with that being said, I didn’t come this far just to remain this far. Totally focused and committed! No turning back, just better days ahead. We can do this! What I decided to do was get low fat plain Greek yogurt and I blend in half a banana for sweetener and frozen fruit so I make my own naturally sweetened yogurt as I despise the artificially flavored yogurts. 1 Tallymom reacted to this
rhunt05@bellsouth.net 1 Posted April 14, 2019 Today is my last day of the “liquid diet “, tomorrow I will try yogurt, never been so excited to have yogurt. These 2 weeks have been a little tough watching my family eat pizza, Cookies and cake literally 🤪

Romanoloser 67 Posted April 15, 2019 Sorry yes everything went great had surgery on April 9th I was terrified about being put under, when I was ready to be brought back they gave me something to relax me and I was out lol. Woke up in some pain, I had the morphine pump which was the only thing that did not agree with me, it made me nauseous and very out of it, I stopped that at 2am and switched to norco. After that it was sooo much better, drinking was fine, I spent two nights in the hospital, came home and day 3 post op I started puréed food, everything has been good not much pain only when I turn a certain way I feel it in my left side where the dr said he did most of the work. I did not experience any gas pains. For anyone like me who was afraid of being put under it is like everyone says your asleep and then you wake up and it’s over lol not as terrifying as I thought. Good luck to the rest of you that have upcoming surgeries! HW 251 SW 238 CW 238 I weighed myself when I got home from the hospital I will weigh myself again on Tuesday. 3 MorningLight, wilsntomas and ItzBing reacted to this
