FluffyChix 17,415 Posted February 14, 2019 The reality is that EVERYONE on the face of the earth has a diet that they must follow to survive. We all have to eat. So after surgery, it's just important that your diet is something you can live with long term and is affordable and can be made to fit within your doc's and RD's guidelines for their program. So any and all of those work. Me? At 12 months, I just do IF + low carb/low fat/fit my macros (all together). Good luck at finding what works for you! 2 ProudGrammy and chubbsey1 reacted to this
wjgo 272 Posted February 26, 2019 I think if someone wants to throw away all their progress and just say "f$&@ it, I don't care, I just want to pretend I care" they might try them. Those prepackaged diets are light on Protein, and high on carbs and have unacceptable amounts of sugar. Nutrisystem does not even highlight the amount of carbs in their meals. I am a year out, and I wouldn't dare use them. I have old nutrisystem boxes, even unopened ones. I have maybe one or two of the meals a week only because it's food I already bought. As for all my meals, I would consider it the same as suicide, because I consider the surgery as having g saved my life. And, I still can't eat a whole meal.Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using BariatricPal mobile app 2 FluffyChix and ProudGrammy reacted to this
