allisonjrasmussen 7 Posted February 14, 2019 NutraSweet, aspartame and most other artificial sweeteners give me Migraines. I have a concern when I go on my liquid diet when they say "sugar- free" that I will have a very limited choice when it comes to flavor. I can have stevia, but wondered if there was anyone else out there with this issue and if there were other sugar substitutes that were allowed or what other "sweet" liquids were still on the table. lspringman 9 Posted February 14, 2019 If you like flavored water enhancers, Stur is great and they're made with Stevia! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
elcee 3,341 Posted February 14, 2019 I have found I really don't like most sugar free drinks anymore, they are either too sweet or too artificial tasting 1 Liz The New Me reacted to this
Liz The New Me 281 Posted February 14, 2019 I found out the hard way long time ago that I can not have aspartame or soy. I always have to go the route of all natural, organic or plant base products. The Vitamin shop store or even like the grocery store Earth Fair has tons of choices. I still drink my Protein Shake from Garden of Life Raw Organic Meal in chocolate flavor now, vanilla is to sweet tasting now after WLS. Hope this helps. 1 Liz The New Me reacted to this

Stur Water Enhancer and a few others use stevia, Monkfruit, etc. Naturally they are expensive but you could always brew your own iced tea too[emoji738]
