2Bsmaller18 436 Posted February 13, 2019 I haven't had surgery yet but from what I have read people may lose hair around 3 months post op. and they say at 6 months you will notice your hair wont fall out as much and will start to grow back in. I would guess maybe you can cut down the Biotin and eventually stop. 1 LaNueva_Janie reacted to this

catwoman7 11,220 Posted February 13, 2019 yes - I've heard Biotin can stimulate facial Hair growth. Unfortunately, I've also heard it's not as effective for the hair on your head! I don't think anything really helps. If you're going to lose hair, you will, if not, you won't. I lost very little hair. I started noticing extra strands in my comb when I was about 5-6 months out. This went on for maybe 3 or 4 months. If it weren't for the strands in the comb, I never would have noticed. And neither did anyone else. Even if you lose some hair, it's temporary - and for most people, you're the only one who notices. In the end, it's a small price to pay. 3 Liz The New Me, LaNueva_Janie and KG371 reacted to this

Much more likely to be hormonal. Sent from my SM-G930F using BariatricPal mobile app
