Since my last weigh in with him I only gained 1 lb in 3 years, but by my records I am up 15 lbs and don't want to get back where I was. Any suggestions on what I should try eating, he put me on a 50 gram carbs and the rest is Protein. I don't see the nut until 04/22/19 right before my knee replacement, so I want to see if I can take off the 15 prior to that. Congrats on 4 years out. A fifteen-pound gain is manageable to work back down. Is it realistic for you to lose fifteen pounds by 4/22/19? If you are having mobility issues with your knee, diet will be key to get the weight off. What you should eat? What is your (real food stage) plan they gave you after surgery? Protein, veggies, small amount of fruit, and low carb (carbs plant based and low glycemic) Log your food in MyFitnessPal or baritastic app. Stay within your weight loss calories, Protein 60 to 100 grams and carbs 50 grams. Stella S 612 Posted April 4, 2019 meat Nd cheese rolls with peppers or celery or even lettuce are my lazy day go to. If the meat is coming from the deli get the nitrate free low sodium option Imagine a bit better than Protein Bars.

lolarose13 147 Posted April 5, 2019 Hi, tlemieux. I used to live in Mesa too! I had my sleeve surgery almost 3 years ago with Dr. Suarez and since then I moved to FL and my old habits are creeping in. Right now I’m 15lb from my goal. I was only 5 pounds from 130 but I started gaining weight just like you. The struggle is real and I love getting a reminder that is up to me to make this change and finally hit my goal. Let’s finish what we started! 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

Let’s finish what we started! Let's do this. I have my first Nut apt 04/22 and a knee replacement on 04/24, so my husband is going to help me with my eating when I get home from the hospital. I still have about 50-60 lbs to go to my goal weight. So I just have to stay focused and do everything I can do. I don't want to get back to where I was, so I am going to do everything in my power to do it.
