TheGh0st 9 Posted December 19, 2007 I could live with the product placements if it meant less adds. Sadly, No luck there.
Mariposa Bella 3 Posted December 19, 2007 Mariposa - I just noticed your tag line says you were banded in 2004 and had a port revision in 2005. How has it been now that you've gone what 3+ years? Are you at your goal?quote] I still love my band. But it still takes work to keep the weight off. Some days I make good choices others I don't. I am currently at my goal. (I started at 190 lbs.) I originally wanted to lose more weight, but when I got to where I'm at I decided I looked great and felt good. So here I am (I fluctuate between 137-140. I wear a size 8, sometimes 6.) Life with the band hasn't been a piece of cake, but it has been Godsent for me. Many times before I had lost the weight only to gain it back and was tired of it and decided to get the band.. So here I am, loving my band. Looking great, I'm a hot mama!
AZA 0 Posted December 19, 2007 One thing I noticed was that none of the contestants looked like they would need plastic surgery to deal with loose skin. Why is that? Is exercise that powerful?
Rosi 0 Posted December 19, 2007 Yes I was wondering if they would need plastic surgery as well?? I don't think this stomach of mine is going anywhere but down. Has anyone heard of any of the past losers going under the knife after such a big lost?
hungryforchange 0 Posted December 20, 2007 Yes, they do. Meet NBC's The Biggest Loser and ABC's Extreme Makeover castmembers in LA I had to look that up because I was amazed that most of them looked like they did not have a lot of extra skin. I think they probably just looked great in clothes. they probably have the loose skin just like almost everyone else.

Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted December 20, 2007 I was going to post that too. The older guy that took off his shirt had some loose skin on his stomach. I was impressed with everyone's arms. That's a problem for me. I don't want flabby skin hanging off my arms. I really hope I can keep building muscles and fill some of that skin out with muscles. georgia girl 35 Posted December 21, 2007 I was hoping a woman would claim the title this year, but they all looked amazing. Julie was so thin and toned. I can't wait until the couples show comes on in January. On the preview, I saw Jillian and Bob, but didn't see Kim. Anyway, I think it will be very interesting to see how the relationships stand up during the process.

And I can't wait to see the dynamics of bringing the couples twist to it. It will be interesting to see if they try to address some of the relationship problems that can come along with weight loss. They should have a counselor of some sort brought into the campus as well as the trainers.
tonya66 13 Posted December 21, 2007 Did anyone catch Larry King last night? They had the biggest Losers on them, as well as all three of the trainers. I saw the first part of it, the twins were both on, Julie but then I fell asleep. so I missed the later part of it.
Thinner me 1 Posted December 21, 2007 FYI...Nichole was the girl that dove in the shallow end of the pool and broke her tooth. I am always in awe of the people on the show, they are proving that hard work really does pay off in the end.

IMO, it seemed like she cared more about her red team being in the finale than she did about their actual health.
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted December 22, 2007 I think they have inspired me to go to the gym more than once a day. I always go in the morning but there is no reason in the world that at least on the weekends, I could go again in the evenings. They work out for hours. It really pays off. I want to get this weight loss going!
destiny79 0 Posted December 22, 2007 what worried me was that they lose weight with exercise and a lot of them had flab skin. I am worried that I will have even more because I don't exercise as much as them:rolleyes:
