Alikiinz 17 Posted March 16, 2019 Skyr has 20 grams of Protein and 6 grams of sugar which is still too high for me in the stage that I’m in. It’s an Icelandic yogurt.
tedsmom 33 Posted March 16, 2019 Somebody makes a lime that rings my bell. I don’t like yogurt so much but this lime is yummy. Also not a big lime lover either. If you love yogurt why aren’t you making your own? If you have plain Greek make your own. Sweeten or not to your taste. You can also wrap yogurt in cheese cloth to strain out Water to make fresh cheese.
Alikiinz 17 Posted March 16, 2019 Yes that’s the PC one I was thinking of but I think I was looking at the vanilla stats at the time.

GradyCat 3,695 Posted March 16, 2019 Sounds like I need to learn how to like yogurt as it has a lot of Protein and you all are swearing by it. I just haven't found it attractive up until now.

Almost sickening sweet...pre op I liked them but nope...... So I am looking for low sugar and higher Protein. I was looking at Sigis as a possibility but was just curious if anyone has an favorites. I have the same question...except it seems no matter what brand I try, I can not tolerate Greek yogurt. The only exception is if it's mixed in with stuff like in a dip. I'm in the pre-op diet stage and low fat yogurt is on the acceptable foods list. The trouble is, I can't seem to figure out what kind to get since so many low fat yogurts are surprisingly high in sugar. Any help is appreciated!
