coletteg24 0 Posted February 4, 2019 Hi everyone I am a newbie here who is looking for some advice. I am 3 week post op and over the last two days I have extreme pain over the right side of my stomach. It is made worse by lying on my back or trying to get up. My pain had mostly subsided prior to this. Has anyone any experience of this ? Thanks

Have you ever had gall bladder attacks before?
Bianca S. 195 Posted February 5, 2019 Hi that sound like gallbladder situation. 3 months ago i had really bad pain and went to the ER and I had gallstones.
ScoutCR 126 Posted February 6, 2019 I am writing this from my hospital bed at UPMC. I had a major gall bladder flair up on Superbowl Sunday with extreme pain all night. Toughed it out until Monday morning. Found out today that my gall bladder is weak and letting sludge build up. This has caused blockage and inflammation of my liver and 3 different blood toxins {infections). The plan is IV antibiotics until the infection is gone. Then wait a few weeks for the gall bladder and liver to be less hot and have the gall bladder removed. 1 vovo2013 reacted to this
Angel'sFaith 32 Posted February 7, 2019 I was having similar problems and seemed I had done too much lifting and pulled areas I shouldn't have... I'm healing finally and sleep on the opposite side I usually did... plus I prop myself up to sleep still... But always good to ask your dr
