Rene' S 14 Posted February 4, 2019 Today I started my 2 week liquid diet. Any help hints or ideas to get through the next two weeks. Its only been a few hours and it feels like forever. Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted February 4, 2019 the best thing i could do for me, which was recommended by my surgeon.. is drink the lower g of Protein Shakes, so you can have 5 or 6 a day MAX... if you drink the 30g ones, you limit yourself and then can be hungry. My typical day started with Water, then Coffee.. then Protein Shake, then i had chicken broth for lunch and and followed with Protein shake.. water..etc.. and broth for dinner. I tried to maintain a normalcy throughout so it didnt drive me crazy. But i will say being allowed 5 or 6 protein shakes a day was the best thing i did along with the broths for lunch and dinner.
