Nice!! I don’t have the whisk so I just throw it in the blender. But yours is so much prettier 🥰

OMG, I feel right at home in this thread.

I drink tea most of my day. I primarily drink green tea, flavored green tea, or green tea blended with an herbal. I avoid black tea due to caffeine content but will enjoy oolong if I need a boost. I keep pu erh on hand and have a blend of pu erh with chrysanthemum. I have tried ayurvedic spice tea blends and like them. I've even made my own ginger tea from fresh ginger. I prefer loose teas in an infuser but will tolerate bagged tea for convenience while traveling.
I generally drink my tea unsweetened, although if I feel like I need an immune system boost I'll put a little raw honey in it.
I love tea and I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur.

I like that chart Green Tealael, think I'll go brew me some Ginger Tea,ate myself some Cheerios this AM , stayed down but Precious Pouch feels crabby, don't want to feed her again. According to N.P. my stoma should be letting some foods through but it feels like it's still sitting there. If I upchuck, I guess I'll know, won't I?

I’ve been meaning to try matcha!

My favorite teas at the moment are chocolate mint rooibos, simple mint teas, and lady grey. I mostly took my current job because we have an instant hot Water thingy! Tea all day for me.

I was actually pretty major into coffee (I live in OR, it’s a law here) but can’t drink it unsweetened. My program requires that we not drink our calories, so that was the first thing I gave up. Teas SAVED me, and made the transition away from coffee pretty easy.

Oh great thread! I'd forgotten about it!

I just had matcha kefir. Oh yes she did! ;) Unorthodox? Perhaps, but as delish as the matcha yogurt I'm now addicted to...ahem, yeah that's you little missy. You know who you are!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
