notmyname 593 Posted February 1, 2019 I'm trying to decide how much oil to add to my tracker for my restaurant meal. I had about 2 oz of seared shrimp and less than 1/4 c. of charred broccoli. Clearly there was some oil involved. I'm thinking 1TBL is too much, but would rather over count than under count. Does that sound about right? Thanks! 1 clsumrall reacted to this
Swanton_Bomb 522 Posted February 1, 2019 For that small of a portion it is probably 1/2 tablespoon. 1 notmyname reacted to this

Most chain restaurant menu items are listed in your food app. (depending on which app you use)
wjgo 272 Posted February 21, 2019 I honestly would not worry about it. If the oil is going to signficantly impact your diet, choose another item. For example, you mentioned .25 cup of charred broccoli. How deep was the charring, a quarter cup is just volume of the measuring device and does not tell you what the packing factor was or the density of the broccoli, was it large peices, or chopped up squares or spherical pieces? See, you can get extremely deep on small servings of food.Just eat healthy. Track your food, but don't worry about small details, like what type of oil was used or what ocean the shrimp came from.Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using BariatricPal mobile app 2 clsumrall and polly... reacted to this
