FluffyChix 17,418 Posted January 23, 2019 Nice people sitting around a circle or table, at various stages of this process--just like you! Congrats! 3 Wanda247, Orchids&Dragons and seaforest reacted to this
SteveT74 360 Posted January 23, 2019 It's pretty much what you see here on the forum, except its usually hosted by a PA, RN or Nutritionist. It's good to meet people that are in or have been where you are--especially in person. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
AFVet 26 Posted January 24, 2019 There will be patients at different stages and different procedures plus some still waiting approval. Usually someone from the doctor’s office, my Surgeon usually comes with his Nurse wife and the Hospital nutritionist sets it all up and sends the invitations. You’ll enjoy talking and sharing. I know I do.
EvPer 1 Posted January 25, 2019 I went to my first meeting last night. It was so interesting! I’m 9 days post op so I don’t have much to share yet but it was a great meeting. Took notes
Alpaca55 168 Posted January 26, 2019 I really miss having the support from one of these groups. I'm a self-pay and I can't access anything local. So, this forum is extra brilliant for me to feel connected to similar losers. Thank you! 🤗
