Hooch 10 Posted January 23, 2019 How long did your pain last after surgery? I had a large hiatal hernia repaired also.
catwoman7 11,221 Posted January 23, 2019 I had almost no pain at all, but people are all across the board when it comes to post-surgical pain. The fact you had hernia repair might be a factor, too... 1 Hooch reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 23, 2019 I had no pain at all post-surgery and still none six weeks later. I guess I got lucky. 1 Hooch reacted to this
SleeveinIL 386 Posted January 23, 2019 I had sleeve and hiatal hurnia procedures as well. I really didn't have any pain. I was off pain meds as soon as I came home from the hospital (2 days). I have never had any pain. It is so odd since I am such a big weenie. lol
Chris56 21 Posted January 24, 2019 I had hernia repair too. Three days out. Pain only when I drink. Hope it gets better.
Chris56 21 Posted January 26, 2019 6 days out. Still pain in stomach after eating or drinking but getting better. Stopped pain meds 48 hours after surgery. Walking and moving is a must!
ekstone86 25 Posted January 27, 2019 I stopped all pain meds about 6-7 days post-op. I used my liquid hydrocodone until it ran out and then went to regular tylenol.
Temeka Silva-Perez 6 Posted January 27, 2019 I had Surgery Wed but have an excruciating pain on my Right side... can’t barely walk. Frustr8 7,886 Posted January 27, 2019 Warm liquids often work better than room temperature or cold things, don't know the trueness of my thought but I believe the darkness makes the knotted and brutalized muscles relax. That still works better for me at 5 months(nearly) out.
Frustr8 7,886 Posted January 27, 2019 Stop it "auto correct" I tried to tell someone warmness, not darkness, if I could reach you I would strangle your" know more than Frystr8-ness " out of YOU📱
mmounir 2 Posted January 27, 2019 I made my surgery sleeve from 3days .2days in hospital and now my 3rd day at home , there is pain but i guess its acceptable with pain killer Sent from my HTC U Ultra using BariatricPal mobile app
LoveFood 5 Posted January 31, 2019 It's different for everyone. I was in extreme pain for the first 3 days, the moderate even with pain killers. I'm 2 weeks post op and I still have pain. Sometimes I fine, then I get sharp pains near my lower left incision. It helps when I massage the area and apply pressure. Good luck! I hope your pain doesn't last as long as mine. Temeka Silva-Perez 6 Posted February 2, 2019 It’s been 10 days since surgery and I have hardly no pain I would say 2 out of 10 and it’s just my right side, but finally started sleeping on that side, Monday I get my staples remove, anxious for them to come off

Where? My incisions were stitched on the inside and then just taped on the outside.
Frustr8 7,886 Posted February 3, 2019 mine too, I kind of expected sutures myself but I guess my guy doesn't use them. Gosh he is such a cool laid-back guy but I'm sure he is relentless on the tennis court! 1 LoveFood reacted to this
