Sammyhasbeensleeved 5 Posted January 22, 2019 I am feeling great I am down 95 lbs since I started my weight loss journey and 56 lbs down since I got sleeved. I am still in my third month and I have only lost 5 pounds!!!! The first two months was great because I lost over 20 pounds each month. I am pretty sure it has to do with what I eat. It is sooooo hard for me to eat. I am trying to get to 80 g of Protein each day and keep my carb intake as low as 20g a day. When I do eat, I get full for hours and thought of Water makes me want to puke so it is hard to drink water as well. I need some advise .. Is 56 pounds in 2 and half months ok? or am I just crazy? 1 Wanda247 reacted to this
Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted January 22, 2019 Your weight loss is excellent. There's no problem here. You have to be realistic; you won't lose 20 lbs every month until you hit goal. Some months will be better than others. 4 KimTriesRNY, sillykitty, FluffyChix and 1 other reacted to this

SteveT74 360 Posted January 22, 2019 You're doing fine with weight loss, but if you aren't hitting your Water goals regularly, you're going to definitely stall out. You need lots of water to burn fat and to get it out of your system. If you get yourself up to 80-100oz a day, you'll see a big difference. If you can't stand water for some reason, add some lemon and/or lime to the water with a little salt (sea salt or Himalayan Pink, not ionized, processed table salt) and some stevia for flavor. In cruch, use some crystal light--it's processed chemical crap, but it won't trigger an insulin response in most cases so from a purely weight loss perspective it's generally ok (not from an overall health perspective though). 2 FluffyChix and Sweettoothless reacted to this
notmyname 593 Posted January 22, 2019 You're fine. I had surgery the same day as you and have lost around 48 lbs since surgery. I find it helps me to calculate my average weekly loss. I'm still losing nearly 4lbs/week average. That makes me feel better about the week I only lost 1.5. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
