Neri 73 Posted January 17, 2019 I noticed a few NSVs last night/this morning, and I'm just so happy I had to share. So, here they are. 1) I had to tighten the strap on the mask for my CPAP 2) I've noticed that I've started taking better care of myself and have generally been feeling happier 3 (and my favorite)) Today as I was leaving for work, my husband hugs me and said, "You've lost so much weight, I can hug you more completely". Guys. He can finally get his arms the whole way around me. I have been smiling about this all day. 6 1 MelissaKay, 🅺🅸🅼🅼🅸🅴🅺, notmyname and 4 others reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted January 17, 2019 After years of f8ngernails that split and broke, my fingernails are looking good and are actually strong. Who'd have thunk it would be that way. Either it's the TPN or my healthy is starting to return. Either way, Yippee Skippee!😝👍😅 1 Neri reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 18, 2019 That's wonderful! My non-scale victories include necklaces that fit better, jeans in a smaller size, and feeling more confident. 3 Neri, Julie norton and belinda7 reacted to this
Lynnlovesthebeach 626 Posted January 18, 2019 @Neri Congratulations on your progress. NSVs are proof it's not all about the number on the scale! Yesterday, while talking to a friend of many years, she said "you are starting to look like the you I remember and I know you'll get back to where you were mean't to be." I've known her for 40 yrs and she has seen me yo-yo diet for the last 20 yrs so I know she mean't this as a sincere compliment . Definitely a NSV for me. 1 belinda7 reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted January 18, 2019 Well I am looking forward to a SVN, a "scale victory now", there was a point where Tomkitten🐯and I were about 75 pounds apart, he is also losing a little bit but not like I am! Somewhere between Easter and Mothers Day I should equal or diminish past him! And then he can call me his LITTLE MAMA and I will rock it to the treetops! Thank you again Drs Needleman and Noria for being my surgical helpers , giving me a chance for a future out of Obesity. I may never make it past mere Overweight but I will be proud at any rate. And my current mantra will be; I SHALL MAKE THE REST OF MY LIFE THE BEST OF MY LIFE!😝🌈👍 2 1 justmetj, belinda7 and Lynnlovesthebeach reacted to this
